Innovate is a rather unique software developer based in England's second-city (Birmingham not Manchester). Innovate specializes in the development of design-driven software systems and have a number of quite exciting and quite high-profile projects under their belt.

We're Innovate's design partner, which means that as well as working with them on interface-design they also let us loose on their own design work from time to time.


We wanted to convey a very different proposition and find a way to demonstrate their approach to designing and developing for an image-conscious and savvy group of human users aka you and us.

We had to strike a fine balance between a site which looked designed but not one that looked too boutique - which meant that the dog and butterflies made it in but the peacock and flamingos got left out...
