The Eckhart Society is dedicated to the study and promotion of Meister Eckhart - a mediaeval theologian and Christian mystic whose teachings transcend traditional religious boundaries and have found much modern acceptance.

Although the Eckhart Society has an academic feel it's a very modern and dynamic organization with something of an international following.


We sought to develop a replacement for their existing and slightly "retro" website, putting a contemporary face and a clever backend in place of their old site.

We wanted to create a tranquil and contemplative feel, balancing the need for a modern image with an organization with quite a bit of "history". Results after the first few months have been very positive, the online shopping facilities have been widely used worldwide and took us all a little by surprise!
